Day 13 – 24 February 2021

Today Tibetan volunteers came from Paonta Sahib Tibetan refugee camp, Himachal Pradesh. The three members of the Tibetan Youth Congress, the Paonta Sahib chapter, walked with us for almost 18 kilometers and helped us distribute pamphlets.

Today we covered 25 kilometers and arrived in Chandigarh via Kharar and Mohali. My poet friend and activist Amy Singh organized a public gathering to talk about the march and read poetry at the Rose Garden. My friend and poet Vijaya Singh, rapper Nand Kishore, poet Kibrianasir attended the reading along with Radio jockey Megha and actress Soumya Joshi.

My friend and founder of Sangye Menlha medical treatment aid Lobsang and her team; Tibetan Mother Teresa Tsering Dolkar and her medical aid team, Members of the Chandigarh branch of Tibetan Youth Congress received us on entering Chandigarh city and also participated in the gathering. My cousin Tseten Youdon visited us bringing tsampa gifts from home amalas of TCV Bir Suja School. My classmate from School Tseten Choedon also visited us this evening. Tomorrow I will address the press conference at Chandigarh Press Club, Sector 27 at 11 am, 25 Feb 2021.

This march from Dharamshala to Delhi, 12 February to 10 March 2021, aims to highlight Tibet as the missing link between India and China. I am appealing to the government of India to #RepealOneChinaPolicy
